Winterfest 2011 This Weekend!!

Friday, February 18th
5 pm – 8 pm	Lily’s Hip of Beef Buffet

6 pm – 7:30 pm	Sugar Shack Shindig – Family edition
	Kid-friendly games begin the evening.  Then it’s into the Sugar Shack for a modern twist on a maritime tradition:  Kid friendly eats served in a canoe! The evening finishes of with a moonlit horse-drawn sleigh ride and maple taffy-making on the snow  – to go! 8 pm	Sugar Shack Shindig
	Get your heart pumping and warm up your appetite with a moonlit snowshoe in the Park.  Then back to the boathouse, which has been transformed into a Sugar Shack, for a hearty nibbler buffet, served in a canoe, with plenty of hot toddies and beverages to warm the soul.  Pavilion Boathouse | Tickets: $25 | Only 40 tickets available | Daytripping| 657-8747 | Must be 19 years of age

	Lily’s Café heats things up with toe-tappin’ live local entertainment.
Saturday, February 19th
8 am – 10 am	Mayors’ Winter Warm-up Breakfast
	A hearty breakfast to warm us up for a day of winter activity – served by our regional mayors: Ivan Court, Grace Losier, Bill Bishop and Murray Driscoll. Lily Lake Pavilion | $8 at the door
11 am	Bo on the Go Family Fitness Dance
	Calling all Bo buddies!  Join Kids CBC’s energetic star, Bo on the Go, for a dance party in the Pavilion.  Local Zumba instructor, Rachelle Perkins, will lead Bo and her buddies in a Zumba for kids dance.  Stick around to meet Bo and take pictures. Lily Lake Pavilion FREE
12 pm	FREE Hotdog BBQ & Hot Chocolate on the Pavilion Patio
1 pm – 4 pm	Live DJ
	Get active to the tunes of Dave Duffy all afternoon.  Ski and snowshoe rentals available at Daytripping.
1 pm – 4 pm	Stonehammer Trilobite Exhibit
	Stonehammer Geopark will have an interactive trilobite display, along with other replicated fossils for inspection.  Come and learn more about the billion years of history in our Stonehammer Geopark and how you can interact with our Earth!  Rockwood Park Interpretation Centre
1:30 pm	Pets in the Park Winter Fashion Show
	Is your dalmatian  decked out for the cold?  Does your tabby tote a tutu? Register your pet at the SPCA booth and when DJ Dave calls him to the stage, have him flaunt his finest fashion for a chance to win a $100 pet store gift certificate.   Pavilion Lower Deck | $5 pet registration fee | All proceeds benefit the SPCA Animal Rescue | Pre-register my pet now!
2:00 pm	Ice Age 2 ~ Children’s Movie

	Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
7 pm	Safari Casino & Auction
	Original oil paintings plus other great items, food, and casino money. Live and Silent Auctions, Free Draws plus a 1 in 175 chance to win a Trinity Diamond Ring valued at over $ 2,000.00 from W. Sunday, February 20th
8 am	Hypothermic Half Marathon
	Registration includes a Running Room tote bag and hat and brunch ticket.  Proceeds from this race benefit the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.  Register now!
